CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE HELLENBRAND LASTING LEGACY AWARD

The purpose of the Hellenbrand Lasting Legacy Award (HLLA) is to benefit aspiring and deserving youth by availing them the opportunity to have 50% ownership in a heifer calf, born from a recent World Dairy Expo breed champion. Under the guidance of a designated mentor, the HLLA recipient will have the opportunity to develop and showcase the heifer at local, state and national shows.

The sustainability of the HLLA, a non-profit organization, is dependent upon the contributions of volunteers dedicated to continuing the legacy of Mike Hellenbrand and his wife, Linda, breeders of elite dairy cattle, breed organizations and the many supporters of youth involvement in the dairy industry.
